Five ski areas make the winter in Val di Fiemme unique, all easily reachable from our Hotel in Predazzo: Alpe Cermis, Ski Center Latemar, Alpe Lusia, Passo Rolle and Oclini. Others are also easily attainable, for example, the Sellaronda circuit and the nearby Val di Fassa facilities. And there is plenty of cross-country skiing trails, which for 150 kilometres can take you through spectacular natural scenery, and itineraries to be done with snowshoes. Whatever activity you choose, you will always be sure to enjoy the unique views of the Trentino Dolomites, further enriched by the whiteness of the fresh snow.

A little more than a kilometre separates our hotel in Predazzo from the ski lift that takes you to the Ski Center Latemar. We are talking about the largest ski area in Val di Fiemme, with further access from Obereggen and Pampeago. There, 49 kilometres of ski slopes dominated by the Latemar Dolomite group are waiting for you, ideally covered with snow, thanks to the altitude and a state-of-the-art snow-making system. Many of them are also suitable for children, while others show significant challenges to put yourself to the test every day.

50 of the most modern lifts await you in our valley. The nearby Ski Center Latemar is, therefore, only one of the options: from Predazzo, it is easy to reach the other ski areas in the area. Thus, you can discover new emotions, panoramas, and challenges for your holiday in Trentino-Alto Adige every day. On top, if the slopes of the 5 ski areas of Val di Fiemme - all accessible with the Fiemme-Obereggen ski pass - are not enough, there is also the legendary Sellaronda, the most spectacular and well-known ski tour in the Alps.

Val di Fiemme is universally recognised as an irreplaceable reference point for those who love cross-country skis. You can count on more than 80 kilometres of tracks from the Passo Lavazè - Oclini skiing centre to the Lago di Tesero cross-country skiing centre, which has already hosted three World Championships. This centre will also host the 2026 Olympics in Milan Cortina and the many loops in the valley bottom that connect with the legendary Marcialonga track. And what about the possibility of skiing at night, twice a week?

"Snowshoeing" means walking in the fresh snow wearing "ciaspole", or snow shoes: the sensation is that of floating on an infinite white mantle in the silence of winter nature. In Val di Fiemme there is certainly no shortage of accessible excursions to approach snowshoes. Among the most fascinating near Predazzo are those in Val Venegia, and certainly those that point towards the enchanted forest of Paneveggio to discover the Colbricon lakes and, above all, the majestic Pale di San Martino.
